Held daily in the Nutrition Conference Room on the 3rd floor of Building 1, the noon conference provides a platform for the presentation and discussion of internal medicine cases. Pulmonary staff and fellows are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in these discussions. Following the morning report, a pertinent 30-minute lecture (“second half”) is delivered, encompassing subjects relevant to sub-specialty care, including pulmonary medicine. The schedule for lectures by the pulmonary department and radiology review sessions facilitated by the pulmonary department will be provided by Internal Medicine. The consult fellow will deliver these lectures, which must be discussed and approved by the attending at least one week ahead of the scheduled lecture.
