CEC/MOR Case:
- Arrange a pre-op appointment with the patient. Pre-op packets can be sourced from the clinic front desk.
- Scan and email the form “Adult Patient Evaluation Screening Worksheet” (Anesthesia) together with the signed procedure consent form to the Anesthesia Pre-Op listserv at usn.san-diego.navmedcensanca.list.nmcsd-preoplist@health.mil. You will receive email acknowledge upon receipt of the documents.
- Complete the following template and email it to Rocky at raquelle.n.taylor.civ@health.mil. Make sure to CC the clinic RN (LT Kozlowski), the consulting staff designated for the week of the procedure, and Dr. Miller if he will be conducting the procedure.

- Once the above steps are completed and the procedure is officially scheduled, Rocky will send a calendar invite/notification.
- After a specific FIN is created for the procedure, you may enter orders associated with the procedure.
- You may then proceed with the procedure.
Pulmonary Clinic Bronchoscopy Suite Case
- Confirm that LT Kozlowski is available to conduct conscious sedation for the case. Her schedule can be accessed via the Outlook Calendar. Reach out to Rocky for access details.
- Schedule a pre-op appointment with the patient and ensure the procedure consent form is duly completed.
- Fill out the information template as outlined above and email it to Rocky. Make sure to CC LT Kozlowski, the clinic RN, and the consult staff for the week of the procedure.
- Once a dedicated FIN is generated for the procedure, you can proceed with entering procedure-related orders.
- Continue with the procedure.
